Advances in Longevity Through IGF and Insulin Signaling – March 9 – 10, 2019
Welcome graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early-career investigators, to the first ever Gordon Research Seminar on IGF and Insulin System in Physiology and Disease. We invite you to this stimulating environment to exchange new ideas, learn about cutting-edge science and engage with colleagues from around the world. More importantly, the line-up of scientific talks will be spearheaded by our own young investigators, who are intimately involved in this research.
Date: March 9 – 10, 2019
Where: Marriott, Ventura, CA
Please share your exciting and innovative unpublished research on IGF and Insulin System in Physiology and Disease, as it pertains to basic and clinical research in metabolism, cancer and disease, aging, and healthy living. Our goal is to impart you with new knowledge, establish new collaborations and form life-long friendships. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
Our Journal
Did you know? The original journal of the International Society for IGF research was entitled “Growth Regulation”. GH and IGF Research started in 1998 as the journal of the two societies, GRS and IGF. It combined “Growth Regulation” and “Endocrinology and Metabolism” and coincided with the amalgamation of their publishers, Churchill Livingstone and WB Saunders.
The IGF Research Society and The Growth Hormone Socieity now publish a common journal: “The Journal of GH and IGF Research”.
About Us
The International Society for IGF Research is an organization devoted to basic, translational and clinical research on the insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), their receptors and their binding proteins (IGFBPs).
